What brought James Comey in the devil's kitchen

Everybody believed the FBI is an investigating body not a court of law or a prosecution authority until the fired FBI Director James Comey held a press conference on the 5th of July 2016 in which he said “Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information”. Perhaps the excitement would not have been so great on the 5th of July 2016 if James Comey had simply released a written statement instead of calling for a public press briefing. Eleven days before the election, on the 28th of October 2016 James Comey went one step further and reignited the email investigation controversy by informing the United States Congress that the FBI will be reviewing the emails between Mrs. Clinton and her aide Huma Abedin for any new evidence. The emails were found on a laptop belonging to former New York Rep. Anthony Weiner, Huma Abedin’s estranged husband. As if that was not enough, James Comey again announced on the 6th of November 2016 two days before the election that the inquiry had found no new evidence of any wrong doing. When you go into the devil's kitchen, eating with the devil becomes absolutely unavoidable.
