IPOB condemns Nigerian Broadcasting Cooperation for suspending Channels Television

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has condemned the Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation for the 5 million Naira fine and suspension of Channels Television for broadcasting an uncensored telephone interview with Emma Powerful. IPOB said it’s an attempt to suppress the Nigerian press and block local and international viewers from the atrocities being committed against Nigerians, especially the Igbo. A move that further confirmed that Nigeria was under a tyrant, whose mission was to actualize a Fulani agenda of Islamizing Nigeria. IPOB asked “How many times has the Islamic cleric, Sheikh Gunmi met terrorists and bandits, and the outcome of their meeting aired on national television without Nigerian Broadcasting Cooperation batting an eyelid ?. How many times have the Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau’s message and threats been aired uncensored on national television without Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation imposing any sanctions on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) ?”. IPOB stressed the fact that after spreading falsehood on how the Imo State Commander of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), Ikonso was murdered, IPOB was contacted to put the records straight, after which all hell broke loose at Nigerian Broadcasting Cooperation because the Nigerian government does not want people to hear the bitter truth, which was that Ikonso was murdered in his father’s house and not in any imaginary ESN camp or battlefield as the liars would make us believe. The IPOB statement continued by saying “The Army, Police, and DSS in Imo State never arrested or prosecuted any herdsman ravaging the state and providing cover for terrorists and bandits before Ikonso intervened and drove the terrorist herdsmen out of Imo State”. IPOB also pointed out that its members were not Miyetti Allah followers and that IPOB don’t kill or attack innocent people like the Fulani herdsmen masquerading as cattle breeders in South East forests. IPOB insisted that this was ESN’s mandate and the cause for which Ikonso, a hero and gallant, patriotic Biafran and his men were murdered in cold blood. Ikonso was only defending the land of his ancestors before he was murdered in cold blood with the help of Governor Hope Uzodinma, George Obiozor and the All Progressives Congress (APC) politicians in Imo State.
