The Spanish daily newspaper “EL Mundo†on Sunday published the current contract between Lionel Messi and FC Barcelona in 2017. It stipulates fixed incomes and variables of nearly 138 million euros each season. That will be the most expensive contract ever paid to an athlete.
According to “El Mundoâ€, Messi earned 115 million euros just for signing the contract in 2017 and bonuses of over 3 million Euros reward for winning the Champions League and 2 million Euros for winning La Liga.
